Ambassador Oren’s profile took the reader on a personal road through his life, stating that “the hardest thing about becoming Israel’s ambassador to the United States was giving up his American citizenship, a solemn ritual that involves signing an oath of renunciation. ”

Dear Mr. Ambassador Oren,
Yesterday, I was watching CNN and noticed this heroic effort that Israel has put into saving the lives of Haitians who were injured during their recent tragedy/disaster. I am very much impressed with your country’s leadership effort to set up a mobile Hospital in Haiti that is well equipped from Israeli Physicians, Specialists and Operating Rooms to adequate equipment/ medication. Even though I recognize the outstanding efforts of other countries including the USA where I live, Israel deserves SPECIAL recognition for their exceptional effort.
Sincerely,
Bruce Orford
