And how about the prospects of stopping Israel’s growth by not building any more neighborhoods, er…settlements – and maybe even getting rid of a few of the ones that are already there? And what about the equating of dead Palistinian children, killed by Israeli military in army ops, to those children who were bombarded with rockets in Sderot and blown up on buses by militants…er…terrorists…How do you REALLY feel, Israeli Consulate people? And Judy using “loaded” language is also a huge part of the problem. These are not “neighbourhoods” nor are they natural, organic growth they are expansions of settlements which are acknowledged as being illegal under international law. To dress them up as “neighbourhoods” is just silly since virtually everyone except for the far right in israel – holding the coalition together sees them as legitimate. And yes, actually international law states that all settlements should be removed. Just because the state of Israel has turned a blind eye to them and their growth over the last 40 years does not legitimise them.

As for dead children killed by rocket fire in Sderot? Remind me how many was it again? And how many killed in Gaza by the IDF, one of the most comprehensively and expensively armed fighting units in the world, and how many children as a percentage of all casualties in that conflict? Seriously Judy it would be nice to think that some saw this as an opportunity but I suspect not and I suspect the forthcoming speech will be full of the usual BS.
