Israel has been a nucelar state for years. It was in denial (is in denial) about it's nuclear capability that is seen as adding to the overall insecurity in the region including Iran's desire to "equal the balance". The better answer would be to halt all nuclear ambition/ programmes and disarm those who have the weapons and technology including Israel. why not? Israel has been a nucelar state for years.
