Israel Declares Unilateral Gaza Cease-Fire

“In announcing the cease-fire, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Israel had achieved its goals and more.

“Hamas was hit hard, in its military arms and in its government institutions. Its leaders are in hiding and many of its men have been killed,” Olmert said.”

PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT IS GOING ON!!! Rockets are still raining in on the South; settlers were displaced; why? what is going on???

I hope PM Olmert is correct and Hamas has been significantly impacted.
Hamas is a criminal band and should be arrested or killed.

You have NOT acomplished your goal in Gaza. You stopped too soon and Hamas will claim that they have won. What were you thinking? You should have wiped them out where they were hiding regardless of the collateral damage. You have only created a propaganda lie that Hamas was resilient and you could not defeat them. Where is the Israel that says “never again”? You have accomplished NOTHING!

@ Admin – so Sol Romano posts a pro-Israeli comment on Jan 23 and it is posted..my negative comment posted on Jan 20 is still NOT moderated nor posted.
Michael Blackburn posts but without a date but was clearly AFTER my negative post yet his is moderated and up…
@Michael Blackburn – yep they are criminals but also were elected democratically. Like it or not. In other news, the Israeli government, also democratically elected, also acted criminally and will be investigated.
@Raquel – the word “settlers” hmm settlers on land belonging to others…displaced- yep as have been hundreds of thousands of Palestinians…cry me a river on that one

Start running a proper site by moderating in time rather than cherry picking the rah-rah Israeli brigade

Anyone taking a minute to browse through the different posts in this blog will see for him/herself that there are many comments “unfavorable” to Israel which we have posted. The comments that are not published do not follow our moderation policy.

All one needs to do is go over the comments that are posted in this blog. If the staff were, indeed, “cherry picking,” it seems they do a poor job at it.
