Two distinctly different things struck me while viewing this video. The large number of demonstrators who came out in support of Israel – this was spiritually uplifting and reminded me of the pride I had for Israel and the Jewish people way back in 1967. The other was how nicely herded into the policed barriers these demonstrators were kept. This reminded me of what New York City has become and, of course, earlier times – not so very long ago when Jews were carefully assembled into nice orderly blocks to be efficiently handled. There was a time in the United States when this would not have been tolerated.
