800 Palestinian dead
1/5th of the dead + are children
over 3,500 civilians injured in 2 weeks
30 people civilians killed after being directed to a house by the Israeli army and then shelled
UN citing at least one clear incidence of war crimes
A greater chance of being hit by a car than a Hamas rocket
Zero foreign journalists allowed into observe first hand = one manipulation of the story despite one court ruling by the Israeli High Court telling the army to allow journalists in.
One election in Israel – not the first time a war has been instigated to sway public opinion in a forthcoming election

Numbers can tell a story but equally they can be used any way you like to hide truth remember the famous Jewish politician Benjamin Disraeli and his oft cited quote: “lies, damned lies and statistics”

what I find amusing about this site is that it takes a long time for comments to be moderated.

If approved they are inevitably accompanied – often as in this case – by a link that masquerades as a posting (not from a moderator but a commentator) placed immediately before or after any critical comment.

To reduce the crude propaganda effect I would suggest having the balls to link but to flag it as from a moderator or site operator and secondly don’t whack it in before a comment (making it appear first) when my comments have been waiting days for moderation.
