What an unpleasant comment. I for one and glad that the ICRC no longer counts you as one of their employees.

Too often one sees those proffering support for Israel as being partisan based either on a basis of religion (us v. them) or on some sense of divine right to do whatever it takes. Take a step back from the partisan position and you begin to see a complex issue of statehood, nationhood, self-determination and historical divisions muddied by the constant factor of religion.

As for media neutrality - would it not help if Israel honured the court oder and allowed international journalists and observers in? The reason for the ban is a self-acknowledged desire to ensure the focus is primarily and overwhelmingly on the Israeli arguments and watching this web site and spokespeople misappropriate fact and language to present a single sided biased picture is ultimately not helpful to any quest for a peace in the region.

Your comments about the children show a lack of compassion that earns my pity.

I just wanted to say that in my opinion Mr. Benjamin Krasna is a great spokesman and that he should be interviewed in more public TV programs to present the Israeli side of the conflict. The Palestinians have Saeb Arikat and Hanan Ashrawi as their spokesmen and they do a great job (unfortunately), therefore, if we have people like Krasna in the ministry of foreign affairs, the state of Israel must use them as much as possible. The battle in Gaza is important, but is only possible with aggressive PR that will constantly explain the Israeli actions. It can't be explained with spokesmen that can hardly speak correct English, it can only be done with professionals like Krasna.
Keep on doing this extremely important job. We should see you on NBC and CNN (FOX news is doing a good enough job without our help).
