While it is clear that the Hamas will continue doing what they have done before, with no reaction or consequences from the world community, this UN call for a cease fire and withdrawl is intended simply to lay the ground for the next step: sanctions against Israel. YES, Israel IS UNDER SIEGE - but the perpetrator is not the Hamas. The Hamas is simply the proxy, using the lives of the Palestinians who naievely "elected" them to power as shields, to forward the current underlying goal of the UN. Hijacked over the past 30 years by the haters of Israel and of the west, this great organization is no longer able to serve its original purpose effectively, unless it is in the interest of its hijackers, and that current interest is to complete the work that the Assyrians, Greeks, Romans, Nazis and many others failed to do!
