what is being done to get the kind of publicity that Hamas gets? the only place that I see real info is on Israeli sites, very little positive on or international news

This is a phenomenal idea. What made you decide to do this news conference on Twitter? Why are you choosing to use the #gaza tag?

The blockade by Israel of vital supplies to Gaza and effective imprisonment of its people has created not only a humanitarian crisis but a powder keg of resentment. While the current Israeli actions to destroy government and civil structures as well as supply tunnels may well reduce the (already limited) military capacity of Hamas they will also impose even greater hardships on the Palestinian people to the long term detriment of security of Israel. Please therefore justify the strategic purpose of these contradictory and shortsighted actions.

This is such a great idea. The power to you! This is a wonderful opportunity that you’re creating for our side to be heard by the leading voices on the internet.

Be ready for some really nasty questions and propaganda aimed at you, though.

Is there any way that I, as an Israeli on the web, can help you?

There’s a message on the new YouTube channel:

“We are saddened that YouTube has taken down some of our exclusive footage showing the IDF’s operational success in operation Cast Lead against Hamas extremists in the Gaza Strip. As the State of Israel again faces those who would see it destroyed, it is imperative that we in the IDF show the world the evil directed against us and our efforts to stop it.”

Make the videos available to us to download, and we’ll keep reuploading them to YouTube, Facebook, and elsewhere. If enough of us do this, it will be harder to take them down and they will be seen.

Can you point me to a list of recognized organizations that support IDF veterans?
    Peace be with you.

There is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Israel has been allowing truckloads of food and medical supplies into Gaza all along, amazingly so even as terrorists fire rockets into Israeli civilian communities and at the very Israeli factory that produces and supplies power to Gaza. Hamas illegally smuggles supplies into Gaza through tunnels, but Hamas is more concerned with smuggling weapons rather than humanitarian supplies, and Hamas requisitions fuel and other supplies for itself, keeping it from the people there. Hamas forces its people to be “civilian shields” and will not allow them to complain about Hamas. Israel is rightly defending innocent Israelis by eliminating Hamas. Gazans will be free when they are free of Hamas.

Those are the same people that danced in the street after 9/11, let Israel have them and leave them for waste.

Great idea, since the press doesn’t tell the whole story. The truth needs to be broadcast. The only way peace will be attained is with the total destruction of Hamas. The people of Gaza will be much better off without Hamas, with one government in Palestine.
