The latter is what the terrorists really want: in the eyes of the world they will be the underdog. Hamas, Fatah and the al-Jezeera network have learned to play the media game all too well. A loudly and often repeated lie trumps the truth in the media. It is easy to say the mistake is Israel's: Gaza should have never been turned over to the terrorists. What is harder is convincing the world Israel is in the right and the terrorist's desire for waging war on Israeli civilians is all wrong. Despite all that Israel has going against it, Israel must defend itself. That is the right thing to do.
